A Day Remembered in 1962

In 1962, on a Sunday afternoon, watching the original “300 Spartans” starring Richard Egan. Wow, what a great flick. The second film (that’s right-you got two flicks for the money back then) was “Gigot” starring Jackie Gleason. I was waiting for Jackie to say something funny the whole movie but he didn’t because he was playing a deaf mute. That movie was a real snoozer. What made the whole day even better was watching these movies with my little brother, Rich.  Submitted by Steve Costello, Director of Community Planning and Economic Development in Norwood.
