Singer-songwriter Colin Hay – of Men at Work – is beloved as a solo artist for his intimate, confessional live shows. The range of artists who have chosen to cite him as a muse or who have found themselves on stage with him in the past year spans the genre landscape from heavy metal, to Americana, to Cuban rhythms and beyond. His inclusion as a playlist favorite from the likes of Metallica to The Lumineers reflects his continuing relevance and broad appeal. Colin performs in support of his new recording Fierce Mercy.
Please note while Colin’s music is appropriate for all ages, his live shows contain adult language and content which may not be suitable for children under the age of 13.
Colin Hay will be joined by opener, Chris Trapper. Chris began his career as the front man for late–90’s alternative rock band The Push Stars (Capitol Records). As a modern day singer–songwriter, Chris is most known for his song “This Time”, the Number 1 selling song on the Grammy nominated soundtrack for “August Rush” (Robin Williams, Jonathan Rhys Meyers – Warner Bros Pictures). The New York Times calls his work “classic pop perfection.”
