Vivid memories of late 1950’s and early 1960’s evenings at Norwood Theater. I remember seeing “Sink the Bismarck” there (1961). When you’d leave the theater, Norwood center was “dead”… not much traffic in those days.
Many remember the gentleman who was the doorman/ticket man (elderly fellow, good lookin’ guy). He was great and always smiling. Of course, next door was that great ice-cream shop, “Furlongs”. Submitted by Rob Amaral of Walpole, MA.
