Award-winning film producers Jerry Kelleher & Brendan King of 10th District Studios return to Norwood Theatre on Saturday September 6th at 7:00 pm with the exclusive world premiere of their new film: “Welcome to Norwood…The Movie.”
This full-length documentary provides a cinematic journey through three centuries of local history. The film highlights the prominent people, places, events and businesses who were key contributors to the evolution of South Dedham into the independent Town of Norwood. Included are segments on local government, schools, religious history, veterans, sports, music and the “difference-makers” who continue to make Norwood a thriving suburban community. The film is intended to serve as a tribute to Norwood citizens of the past, as entertainment for modern audience, and as a source of education, pride and encouragement for future generations.
